Jump to navigation Jump to search

- Log in to https://pfa.apoyar.net:444

- policies/user authentication/authentication rules

- edit Apoyar Authentication Source - Local

- Go to the Authentication Options tab

- Choose Local User DB as AdminUsers

- Save configuration

- Edit your L2TP connection properties to ask for credentials

- Supply admin:5tarry.FW as credentials

- use the 128.0.95.79 IP to RDP to Vcenter

- launch VMWare client and restart/fix the machine with the problem

- Go back to Clavister

- Change the Authentication Source to LDAP

- Save the configuration

- Disconnect your L2TP and edit the credentials

Plus: that's why we never log off vcenter. By keeping the RDP session disconnected, we can use the cached credentials and the login will work even with Mercury dead.
