Add new user to GitLab

• Login as root:5tarry.Night

To get to the Admin area, click the tool icon on the top right:

Click New User:

Click New User again:

Fill in the first 3 fields, use first name as user name:

Scroll to the bottom and click Create user:

The user will be sent an activation link where he will specify his desired password.

To assign user to project:

Click the tool icon again:

Choose the desired project at the bottom:

Click Manage Access:

Start typing the name in the Search members… field:

The username will appear, click it.

Choose the user’s role from the next dropdown:

Click Add to project.
