Email Configuration and Issues

We are using Microsoft O365 for Apoyar and also we are giving Microsoft O365 support to Wise Geary, Caladanian and Meridian

There are different ways we can access our mail account, as below

• Web Outlook – Server Database

• Outlook Desktop Client – Local Database (PST or OST Files)

• Mobile Client – Just a UI Interface (No Database in Phone)

Outlook Email Account Configuration for Exchange on Windows

Go to control panel

Select and click on Mail

Add  Enter profile name  Click OK

Then new window will open, there select Email account and enter details

• Your Name

• Email Address

• Password

• Re-type Password

• Click on Next

• It will automatically detect the exchange server, then click Finish



Outlook Email Account Configuration using IMAP or POP3 on Windows

Go to control panel

Select and click on Mail

Add  Enter profile name  Click OK

Then new window will open, there select Manual setup, click Next

• Outgoing mail server

• Username

• Password

Outlook Issue Resolution Steps

If there is any outlook issues like send/receive errors, like 0x800… follow the below steps

• Research on error you getting, with error code

• First check in outlook if its showing Work offline, if its showing like then disable that and check after, if its showing Connected to Microsoft Exchange

• Login to webmail and check with server side if able to send/receive mails

• Check for windows Updates

• Remove profile and add it again

• Re-install Outlook client

• Escalate to Microsoft
