Apoyar is running a Windows 2008 R2 Active Directory domain. All Windows servers, apart from the Web IIS are joined and running under it. It serves: * User management * File permissions (where applicable) * MS SQL central access and management Apart from the above, it contains the user database for non-windows applications (even on windows machines), where applicable: * Both L2TP and OpenVPN user logins * Secure ftp access logins * VSphere logins and roles (VMWare) The only management involves: * Adding and amending DNS records * User management * Security groups/ACLs (managed from Mercury) Please use the DNS snap-in, ADUC and [[Group Policies|Group Policy management]]
